Contaminated Soil Remediation Process

Soil Analysis
First step is to test the soil for contaminants by having a certified local soils engineer conduct a soil sampling to obtain samples from different areas to determine level of contamination PPM (parts per million or mg/L).

Treatment
Following the complete soil analysis, depending on the level of contamination found, we would work with you to apply an appropriate treatment.

  • Low soil contamination - treated by: soil washing, evaporation, landfill

  • High soil contamination - treated by: excavation & treatment on site or off site, in-site capping, chemical oxidation

  • Hazardous soil contamination - treated by: thermal oxidizer, secured landfill

Excavation

After contaminated soil has been identified, we safely remove it from the property and transport it to an authorized landfill for disposal or treatment.
